jlvdo Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 In the Tools, Banner admin section im trying to upload a banner but this error message shows up at the top of the page. Error: Graphs directory is not writeable. Im using the latest version of osc. How do I make my files writeable?
Guest Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 There might be an easier way but I always change the file and folder rights to my OSC stuff in my sites cpanel.
jlvdo Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 thanks Im in cpanel and I click on the catalog, images folder and then on Change Permissions, and under User i all are checked off, Read, Write and Execute. There is also a box called Permission that you can type in something. What do I type in there if anything?
Guest Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 go into the image folder and there is a folder called banners. That is the one you need to change the permissions to, click on it and click all the boxes on write. then you should be able to add banners.

jlvdo Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 I found those files, they are all on the server and have the correct name. They disappeared when I viewed and changed the permissions. What permission should they have, since the photos of the products do show up online.

I see this error message: Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/frameemp/public_html/catalog/images/ I went into the cpanel, file manager, public html, catalog, images and check the permission. It shows 755 I need help to get this fixed! Thanks
