OSX mail problems

Hi hope somebody can help.

 

BTW:

 

For anyone who was having trouble setting OSX php.ini correctly, set

 

SMTP = localhost

 

and get shareware program SENDMAIL ENABLER 1.1.3 follow the instructions

 

set the email settings in osc admin to:E-Mail Transport Method smtp

 

and hey presto...

 

 

However my problem is that although the send e-mail function works from the admin screen, no emails are being sent to confirm opening of accounts etc. although there are no errors generated. Has anyone conquered this.?

I am running Webstar 5 on OS X and having the same problem. No emails are going out to user accounts and even if I send an email from the Customer page nothing gets sent.
