Flavious Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I've got a very elaborate install of OS COMMERCE. All seems to be well, but when we installed the SSL certificate, I keep getting the error that the page is not secured. The ISP says some of the images referenced are still referencing the http://thedomainname.com instead of https://thedomainname.com I don't see how that is possible, as all the paths are relative. What else would cause this? The admin and the catalog config files are all correct. Do I need the IP in those? Does lookin gin https://thedomainname.com not work? Sorry -I've not done much with SSL before. Thanks in advance.
wizardsandwars Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Do you have hardcoded images in your shop? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
fishy Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 is the ssl a paid signed certificate or is it a self-signed cert from your hosting company ?
Flavious Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 I don't recall harcoding any images in the app. I did a search on all the files in the directory for "img src" and they were all relative links. As for this one: "is the ssl a paid signed certificate or is it a self-signed cert from your hosting company ?" I got the ssl cert from instantssl.com - so that makes it a paid signed cert? Please forgive my ignorance, but how would I tell? Would this cause the errors?
