bren Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 We have made one OS Commerce site that is doing very very well in Google, it is in position one for all the keywords etc. Even above the manufacturer or each product. No real marketing was needed to achieve this. We have now made another site but this time have incorporated the DHTML menu, google keeps spidering the site but it never appears on the search. We are now thinking the cause of this could be the dhtml menu! Opinions? Cheers
user99999999 Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Mostly the search engine spider cant post forms or execute JS/DHTML.
bren Posted April 26, 2004 Author Posted April 26, 2004 Does anybody have any ideas on this? We need to use the java menu because there are that many menu topics on this particular site... Cheers
charlieworks Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 I am encountering the same problem. I am using coolMenu and im afraid that Im not getting good results. What should i do?
♥kymation Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Add the All Products contribution. Put the link to the All Products page on every page. I put mine in the footer, and Google found it and indexed all of my products from that page. Regards Jim See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
