kinderatom Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Hi all, first a word of thanks to all who have posted in here, I've used many ideas and tips from this forum in setting up our site. I have the download feature running fine, and after a test-purchase I am able to click to the download file, in this case an MP3. Now, most users browsers are set to autoplay mp3 files, usually with qt/wm/winamp, which makes saving the file on your drive a little tricky (it's in the cache but the average user wouldn't know that). If you right-click on the file link, that does work to save it on your local drive, but I'm wondering if there is a code or fix to prevent the file from autoplaying, and after clicking the link you would be promted to save it right away. I know many of you are using the download feature so there must be a way around this. Thanks in advance, Gerald.
