default images

hey all, i'm pretty new to osCommerce, just starting to figure out how everything works . My question concerns the default images such as the shopping cart image that appears in the shopping cart box. When i first opened the site, the images were present, now that i've loaded a bunch of my own products, they've disppeared. I checked the php code under catalog/shopping_cart and it appears to me to be correct:

 

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_cart.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT);

 

When i open catalog/images/table_background_gif and go to view, the image comes up, so i know it's there. Is there something i'm missing here?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
