Repeated Sub-categories

Hi - I thought EasyPopulate might be my solution, but I'm not seeing the functionality I'm looking for, although it will still make a great tool.

 

My store has multiple categories (nothing new there, right?). Under those categories are multiple sub-categories - many of those repeated across the main categories. And then there are multiple, repeated sub-categories of the original sub-categories.

 

I know that might not be very clear, so I'll give you specifics:

 

My main categories are "Vacuums" and "Parts and Accessories" for now.

My subs under Vacuums are model types: Cannister, Upright, Cyclonic and Commercial.

My subs under Parts and Accessories are Bags, Belts, Filters, and Replacement Parts.

 

As you break down the sub-categories, I use the same list of manufacturer names for each sub-sub-category.

 

I want an easy way to duplicate that list of manufacturers across the board without having to manually enter it each time. That can make for a lot of typing and open up a lot of room for error.

 

Is there a contrib that can do what I'm asking? Or is there an easy way to do it that I'm just overlooking?

Thanks - I'll give it a try. Although, by the description, I'm not sure that's what I need either. Kind of sounds like that only allows you to duplicate products. But like I said, I'll try it.

If you are using easy populate why is it a problem? Just highlight, copy and paste when in Excel
