Account import

Almost there with the install... Most things went ok :D

 

Except, we have hundreds of customer accounts from a previous system. The account data now temporarily exists in a spreadsheet. I can see loads of contributions to add products to a new shop. Does anyone know of an easy method (data import) for account entry?

based on access db?

I have all the account password unencryoted, can this be useful?

Try the easy populate module....

Easy populate, like all the other "data population" process contributions appears to be specific to product import...

 

In the end I formatted the data and did a sql insert.

 

There are 3 tables populated when an account is created... customers, customers_info & address_book. Quite simple really :-/
