Guest Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 With a different shopping cart written in a different language I had a similar problem with their UPS module also. What was happening there is that UPS.com gets the information on shipping charges from the UPS United States server. This messes things up for shipping from Canada and it returned the shipping choices all as International choices even if the package was going next door. This is what could be happening with this contribution. Try changing the references from www.ups.com to www.ups.com/canada/engindex.html or www.ups.ca and see if that helps. You may have to contact UPS to find out what the Canadian server name is. It should be in their API information. Also I noticed this "suggests STD service as default for Canada" in the files for the UPS Choice contribution. That may have something to do with it also. Peter

healthsmart Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Thanks for the suggestions. I am giving up on the UPS for now. I got the Canada Post Module working and that might meet my needs for now. Now my customers have a choice between the values I setup in my Table and the Canada Post option. If the package is to big or heavy my table costs take over.

I am having the same problem with the ups module "an error occured with ups shipping calculations", and with canada post all I get is this xml parsing error I JUST saw another thread, with a new ups module that boasts that claims to work correctly.
