PAYFLOWLINK processing, but orders not showing

I'm using Verisign Payflowlink as my gateway. I have SSL on my site. I've created some fake accounts and tested purchasing with the test c/c numbers supplied by Verisign. In my Verisign Manager, the test purchases have gone through successfully. Emails by Verisign, confirming the order, have been sent to the test email addresses and to me (even though

WireX Immunix Product Order
isn't exactly of any use to me in determining WHAT the order consisted of.

 

The problem is that in admin, there's no record of the order.

 

When I sign in as these various faux customers, there's no record there of any order.

 

The things they "purchased" are still in the shopping cart.

 

Yet going through the test purchase process, the "customer" ends up with a "your purchase was successful" sort of screen, from Verisign, and then can click back to my site.

 

I tested the order thing with a cheque/money order, and that DID work. That order is listed in my admin, and it shows up in the "customer" account.

 

Clearly the problem is somehow with information being posted back from Verisign... I think.

 

The order.php in catalog/admin/includes is altered by the Verisign Payflowlink module. This is the code:

The customer even ends up seeing the "success" page, yet still his/her cart contains the items purportedly purchased, and still there is no hint of the order in admin.

I've solved the problem. I should relax now... but of course, I can't...

I don't know whether the problem that I was having is the same that you're having - but here goes.

 

1. Make certain that the return URL is

https://www.mydomain.com/catalog/checkout_success.php

 

2.Ensure that the silent post URL is checked, with the URL

inserted as

https://www.mydomain.com/catalog/verisignreturn.php (You'd have to check

your own payment module, I suppose. If your catalogue section isn't in the

same path, check to make sure the path is correct.)

 

3. This is the embarrassing bit. OsCommerce has so many folders and

subfolders - I blame that for causing a bit of confusion. I had uploaded all

of the module php files to the correct folders - except for one, which ended

up somehow in the wrong folder. It ought to have been in /catalog, but wasn't...

Just make doubly, triply sure all your files are where they ought to be, because that's where it needs to be.

 

After I took all of these steps, the problem was solved and I was finally - FINALLY - getting the order completed feedback!

 

If these steps don't solve the problem, perhaps there's some incorrect code somewhere...
