Hello.

 

A re-make of an older store I had. Trying to break away from the standard while still maintaining the look I like :) Done for the most part. Still adding products. Does it look like a site you would buy from? (talking to all the ladies) Suggestions welcome.

 

 

 

It's a fashion jewelry shop for kids, teens, women. So suggestions from a womans point of view would be appreciated!

I like it. Yes the colors are a bit :blink: wild, but I understand your market as I sell tween/teen cosmetics. Those colors are perfect for your products/market.

 

A couple of little things:

 

1) Love the buttons, but your "Write Review" button was still the stock OSC button.

 

2) When you are looking at a product the header says "New Products for This Month", but then scrunched over to the left is says "Customers who bought this product also purchased".

It's very pretty, but it took an an age for all the images to download when I first visited the homepage. You may want to compress some of the navigation images slightly (product images seemed to be ok). Try http://www.spinwave.com/crunchers.html

Thanks! Fixed the review button. I would like to take out the text that says *new items* and *also purchased* in my new products header, although if i do.. my corner gif on the right doesn't show correctly in the new products and what customer have purchased table/boxes.

 

Thanks for the spinwave link!!!! I remember someone here once gave me a link for an irfanview program.. which crunched my product images, so great that...that works! I'll go try and see what I can do with the navigation images, thanks!

Right. If you remove the text completely, then the column will collapse and it will cause your right corner to move to the left. Instead of removing it, just fill it with a couple of spaces and it will work. It is already set to 100%, so only a couple of spaces are necessary.

 

 

In includes/languages/english/pProduct_info.php replace:

 

define('TEXT_ALSO_PURCHASED_PRODUCTS', 'Customers who bought this product also purchased');

 

with

 

define('TEXT_ALSO_PURCHASED_PRODUCTS', '  ');

Thanks! I was actually thinking about using the   to space it out yesterday... but today completly slipped my mind about that. :) Good tip for anyone to know.
