how do I remove other admins(if there is something like that) and/or remove their admin privliges???

if there isn't something like that please tell me how I can change my admin password

 

I am a total newbie and I have never messed with all the admin stuff before so don't spear me any details :)

There is no admin login account or password if that is what you are asking.

 

You can lockdown your admin folder by securing it using htaccess. You can then specify who has access to that folder. Just research on the net for htaccess. There are plenty of tutorials that will walk you through this.

I love how us windows/iis users are just assumed not to exist sometimes. I know, the original poster didn't indicate one way or another and most of the folks running osC are likely on linux. Just my perspective as a non-*nix type.

you can also use this contrib http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,1/category,3 which will allow you to lock things down in the admin section...
