Preset Order Comments

This contribution allows you to insert/edit/delete preset comments to be added to the orders from the order edit page in admin area.

You will still be able to add any text you want in the default Comment textarea field.

 

 

REASON:

------------

 

I was tired to write same explanation text for every order status change. So I was needed a change to have a preseted comment everytime I need it.

 

 

USAGE:

------------

 

Inserting/Editing/Deleting the preset comments can be completed from the Localization >> Orders Comment menu.

 

In the order edit page choose the preset comment you want to add to the order. A dropdown box with all preseted messages is placed right after the default Comment textarea.

You will still be able to add any text you want in the default Comment textarea field.

The text you insert in the default Comment textarea field per order will appear above the preset comment you select.

 

TIP: In the preset comments page (Orders Comment) leave the very first message empty just for those situations you do not want to add any pre-set comment.

Kewl. Very Nice. Though you have the filename.php info as :

define('TABLE_ORDERS_COMMENT', 'orders_comment');

But easily fixed and will save me typing or cutting and pasting the samething over and over.

Firstly Thanks for this MOD. It sure is a real good one.

I have just installed V0.2_1_2 also using Fancier Invoice contribution along with this.

 

All the installation is fine. When I try and use the Mod it says email sent but when I get the email it is blank no text in it

 

Can you help? Where do I look to fix this?

This is such a great mod for us. Does anyone every read this thread anymore? If so, does anyone know how we could add more preset comments? We have the 2 added by default, but really could use 4 or 5 easily. Any advice how we can do this would be appreciated.
