Inventory/Stock Management?

Hi all,

I'm investigating oscommerce for a client that.

They need an ecommerce system complete with Inventory/Stock Management. This feature/capability MUST be available on the attributes (if any) of particular products and those without attributes... just the product itself.

My initial thought was to use oscommerce but upon initial investigation it doesn't seem like this functionality is possible.

IS there a mod or contribution that IS available for what I am looking for?

If not, the other option is to potentally re-write an ecommerce application we developed to integrate this functionality.

Please help?

Thanks all!

1. Calm the freak, just because you are behind on some work doesn't mean you should take out on others.

2. Every now and then we all have questions that perhaps go unanswered.

3 Calm the freak down and explain what you want in a logical manner.

Are you saying your product attributes need need quantity restrictions or just the product it self

Take a look at these two contributions:

Master Products

QTPro

I use Master Products and highly recommend it. I have not tried QTPro myself, but I hear it is also a good choice.

I'd rather be flying!

Hey,

Calm down? I was calm ;)

I assumed this was a fairly active board and a hot topic that would yield thoughts.

I wait til 9 hours later before I made my remarks as I DO understand people don't always have the time to respond. I think a 9 hour wait is reasonable.

Thanks to you too for the links to the mods.

I had initially installed the QT mod but it doesn't appear to do what I would like - some, but not all.

I've taken a gander at Master Products as well and it does appear like it will be able to do the major part of what I need.

I think some heavy modifications will be required if we do decide to implement oscommerce.

Thanks guys!

Try at least twenty four - ever heard of timezone differences?

If your post does not recieve a reply then perhaps a little more specific info is required :D

Please contribute code you develop back to the community B)

You will find links to sites using Master Products in the support thread.
