Newbie with 2 problems

Hello,

 

2 questions with my setup.

 

(1) On my main page I have the text "TEXT_MAIN". I cannot locate this in the index.php file. Does anyone know where my error is?

 

(2) Is there anyway to upload my inventory and product list to osCommerce without laboriously entering each item? I use quickbooks and could export it in IIF, or I can generate an excel spreadsheet, pretty much anything but typing in 1000's of products, or even better would be XML connectivity so I could link to my suppliers.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

 

The TEXT_MAIN is about line 301 of the index.php file (near the bottom). If you're trying to change the text, that's in the languages/english.php file.

 

You can use the contribution "Easy populate" to populate the cart with your Excel speadsheet. It's a bit of work, but worth it when you have 1000+ products.
