I recently signed up with [edited] to host my site, they had oscommerce as a shopping cart, they have an automatic install to my web pages they are hosting. My problem is when I try mydomain.com/catalog/install I get a file not found error. All the files seem to be on my server but I get error page on install.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had that problem once before... but it was on an earlier version of OsCommerce.

Try www.yourdomain.com/install/install.php or www.yourdomain.com/install/index.php

If you have Cpanel or something similar, check the install folder and see what's inside pertaining to the above.

you would be better off to upload the latest from here, as there is no telling what they have installed there or modified in the code. why take a chance?
