Hi all,

I have a number of OSC stores and i have one shared cert on a seperate domain for all stores. Everything is working fine except when i go to the secure domain the session ID is showing in the URL, which isn't a problem until you get to the checkout_success.php page and are given a file not found error upon clicking continue.

I have been reading the forums and one suggestion is to set the force cookies option in admin to true. Which does the trick but does this affect Search Engine spidering of my site now?

What are my options? What is the BEST solution? Is it possible to have a successful checkout without use of cookies (by using session id's) If so what is the fix for the checkout_success.php page?

Do i need to FORCE cookies or should the site attempt a cookie and ONLY use session id's in the URL if the customers browser will not accept cookies?

My main concern at this point is Search Engine spidering and what i should be doing to have successful checkouts and successful spidering.

Thanks,

rw
