I am using the default install of oscommerce and I have configured everything except for the default text that is on the first page of the site. I want to instead of editing the text add an image with links to products within the site. How can I go about doing this?

I simply inserted HTML into my default.php but you have to be careful about punctuation (I quickly learned that PHP doesn't like handling ' )and where you put it. Sounds like you might want to do the same but insert and image map or other qraphics to suit your purposes.
