Also, most contributions made are now being made specifically for MS2 and require some tweaking to work for MS1. 2) How to upgrade? Step1: download MS2. Step2: Read the instructions (really). There are upgrade instructions included, as well as many many upgrade threads in these forums if you will go look for them. -jared
szenses Posted April 7, 2004 Author Posted April 7, 2004 thanks jared!!! is there anyway i can find out which files are changed and not changed from MS1 to MS2? that way i don't have to customize the whole ms2.....
Guest Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I think that you will spend less time re-customizing than you will finding all of the changes and making sure that you get them done right (and then re-doing some of the contribs that require changes from MS1 to MS2 anyway). If you don't have a compelling reason to upgrade, then perhaps the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ideology applies well to you in this case. You may consider waiting for MS3 (not sure when it's coming) instead. Good Luck. -jared
