sallam Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Hi, newbie here, both in the forum and oscommerce. I would like to ask: what steps should be taken to add a new language? I get the following error when clicking on a new language I've just added Warning: main(includes/languages/arabic/index.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frank/public_html/shop/index.php on line 33 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/arabic/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/frank/public_html/shop/index.php on line 33 I've added the new language in admin cp, and uploaded the files. Is there an oscommerce file that I should edit? the language pack I downloaded did not come with any instructions! Thanks so much in advance for any help given :)

I guess it has something to do with language code, like 'en' for english, etc. When I added the new language, Arabic, I typed 'ar' in admin>language>Arabic but shouldn't I edit any file to add the new language code? hope someone reads this and help please...
