Still could not figure out how to do this. I also studied the "Wiki Community Site", was helpful as I could change a lot of things with this information.... but still have the Logo on the botten.

 

Anybody here with a practical solution?

I don't know how but.... Just change the picture to match the background of your site, open it in MS Paint or something and paint the picture white.

To remove the banner completely, try replacing it with

 

 ? ?</td>
?</tr>
</table>

 

Which basically removes all reference to the banner.

 

You might want to save a copy of the original file in case you want to put it back or put another banner in.

You are confusing the issue. This link has nothing to do with removing the BANNER at the bottom of the page, which is what this person wishes to do.

 

The link sends one to a thread about removing or changing the CATEGORY images, which is a different thing.

 

You are not being helpful. Is this deliberate?

i was trying to advise that the logo graphic can be replaced with a transparent gif.

 

that would save having to remove the code you suggest above - and then having to replace that code in the future if they want to use the banner space again.

 

Although as I am now aware it is a dynamic banner that can be switched off in admin under tools/banners.

 

you can see from all my posts I try to be helpful where I can.
