ashlyn Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 First thing I noticed was the lack of "product" on the landing page. I had to look around to find things. Have you tried just putting one or two featured products below the text in the center of the first page? I'm viewing on a large res and there is a lot of space left over below that welcome text.. It's just a thought.. Take a look around at some of the other computery pages and do something completely different! :) ------------------------------------------------------- I used to be insane, but now I'm just nuts ;)

This might be a n00b sort of question, but how do I add featured items to the site and be able to change between them easily? I think as far as computer shopper goes, I like to see a bulleted list of specs, esp for stuff like mobo, ram and well pretty much everything. The normal nitpicky stuff: kill the count at bottom, get rid of "top" in breadcrumb trail. And maybe something more in the header, thats a lot of empty real estate up there. just my 2. Noel 9 times out of 10 its a PEBCAK Error (Problem exists between chair and keyboard) Replace that and you're fine...

I have the specials on the side now and am just working on the items on the main page. As for the trail, can anyone steer me as to how I can change this? I did search the forums but couldn't find anything. The top section will have ads in it very shortly, just working on getting it down. Thanks guys! -emerteX
