The e-commerce.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I need some help please.

I need to have two forms of shipping, both table rate. I have already set up thet able rate that was default with what came with OsCommerce, but I need to create another table rate form of shipping.

These are the two forms of shipping I would like at the end:

Media Rate

Priority Rate

I'm also looking to have multiple TABLE RATES and NOT MULTIPLE ZONE RATES just like Bobbot20 on his post.

The links provided is to have multiple zone rates. Do you have something similar to multiple TABLE RATES?

Do a search in the forums for UK shipping tables -- I found an excellent post that helped me sort out multiple table rates.

(If you can't find it that way, you could also search through my posts to find it, as I've passed the link on a few times.)

Thanks I found something.

All you need to do is copy the table.php file in the

includes > modules > shipping

includes > language > your language > shipping

rename those files and copy back to the directory you took it from. Don't forget to rename all instances of "table" and "_table_" to the name of what you called your new table.

Important: do not rename TABLE.CONFIGURATION.

That's it. Now I gotta test it.

Thanks for that post - very useful, as I couldn't find anything else in the forums (never been very good at searching).

Couple of corrections/clarifications:

1. Should be

includes > language > your language > modules > shipping

includes > language > your language > shipping

2. Change all instances of 'table' to 'table2' (assuming you want to call the new table 'table2'), and all instances of _TABLE_ to _TABLE2_ - take care with the upper/lower case and the underscores, and don't change anything else with TABLE in it.
