Admin rights?? Not working

Hello,

I'm trying to change some very basic things on my site. But for some reason my admin account, the only as of now, is unable to change everything except for the logo and all the files under "File Manager" located in tools. For example I get this error displayed along the top of the page when I try to change any file

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/aplusc2/public_html/home/account.php

Can someone please tell me how to give myself access :( I looked through the control panel and ever other place I can think and can't seem to find anything about user rights. I host through www.lunarpages.com and they said it something with my OSc not there side.

Anyone? Thanks...

There is an edit button if you'll just look for it. ;)

Don't use the file manager. It sucks big time (don't they all). Edit your files locally and FTP them. That way you always have the most current copy on your computer as well.

OK call me blind but can you please tell me where the "EDIT" button/option is?

I'm using dreaweaver to edit the code then upload when I'm done. I'm still trying to get the site to my root folder. Once I get that then I'll change stuff.

Thanks

If you're using DW then why are you using the built in OSC file manager too?

Th edit button is between the Report and Quote buttons at the top of each of your posts.

If youre on a web host go to control panel and open web files, open your site.com and you can edit anything you want from there. You can also set pass on admin from there and remove or rename the install file.
