change the last line in the following files

catalog/includes/configure.php

admin/includes/configure.php

from

define('STORE_SESSIONS', '');

to

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');

I just changed the chmod on my config files to 777 during the installation and it installed clean. Phew! The catalog index is up and running but have an error on my admin index... gonna go check teh forums for a fix.... just thought I'd let you know what helped me -Chuck

I got passed this problem too, though CHMOD looks different on Windows IIS - now I'm on to problems with permissions with uploading files, the upload.php seems to want to give everything 777 permissions which doesn't seem to work!

Thanks for the help - the two additions to the configure.php files worked well and I'm learning a lot by fighting my way through the dificulties, perhaps in one or two years I'll get everything working as I want!!!!! :rolleyes:
