1- Remove the Caps Lock (very hard on my eyes) B)

2- Did you created a new default currency?

In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ?

and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36

// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

Change it to whatever you need

Please don't SHOUT.

Did you remove the "currency" box from the right-hand column?

I had a similar problem when I did that - it seemed like the selection in the infobox wasn't updated by the default currency I selected in admin - so the prices were still being displayed in US Dollars (as 0), even though I expected Pounds Sterling to be my default.

If that is the problem, try replacing the currency box, and manually selecting Pounds sterling, before removing it again.
