Help with Credit Card settings.

Please help a newbie. I have set the permission in the payments module to accept credit cards ( green dot) but I'm confused by the lack of istructions to set up the accounts. The first slot / question is "Do you want to accept credit cards?" and has a preset value of 1... what value is needed to actually accept cards?

The second slot is for"credit card tp email address"and has a default value of "none" ... what should go in this slot? the email address that the orders are sent to??

And lastly... where or how do you define WHICH cards will be accepted? My client only accepts Visa and Mastercard... do I put these card names in the 3 remaining slots???

ANYONE that can answer, please help... I'm under a time constraint!
