those who remembers what it is like to be a newbie

To those out there who have sympathy or those who might remember what it is like to be a newbie, please help.

 

My issue is this:

 

I cannot get passed the checkout. I get to the conformation and when I continue it bounces me back to the payment page with the URL based error:

 

?error_message=There+was+an+unspecified+error+processing+your+credit+card

 

I do not know where the breakdown is.

 

I was getting session errors before installing the AIM 1.0 Patch

 

Now the session errors don't happen and this error does.

 

I am calling on your since of decentcy and brotherhood.

 

Please help!!

 

I have been combing this forum for four days with no avail.

 

I keep thinking that I am getting closer but I still cannot make a test purchase with authorize.net. If anyone has actually done this, can you offer me some enlightenment as to where I am going wrong?

I would highly suggest getting a contribution called "Authorize.net Consolidated." There's a long support thread about it - the latest version may still have a few bugs to be ironed out, but it's a great module. I've been using it without problem for a few months now.
