Fatal Error and blank Admin page after initial ins

Catalog seems to install fine. Admin never gets past a blank page. It is

always the same PHP error message when the Admin page is loaded.

[client 64.83.50.168] PHP Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in

D:\TFFFTPS\FTPRoot\AnthonyQuinnWines\catalog\admin\includes\classes\upload.php on line 31

I am running Apache/2.0.44 (Win32) PHP/5.0.0RC1

with MySQL Version: '4.0.18-nt' on Windows 2000 SP3.

I have spent days trying to get past this by reading this forum but I can't seem

to get it. I know there is another thread with similar problems currently going

but it is such a large thread I thought it would be better to start fresh [so did Steve]. My problem may be unrelated. OSCommerce seems ideal for my application so I am very anxious for this to work. Any help would be very appreciated.

If you think you have an idea of what is wrong you may see the site here:

When you go to Admin, if the page looks normal [not blank] then someone has fixed the problem. Thank you. Admin is here:

Note that when someone finds the problem that these links will be removed.

If you fix it then please tell us what you did!

Thank you very much for your help.

Please help me get Admin started.

It seems the problem must be in the configuration files or in the way the server is configured. Could someone show me configuration files that work with Windows 2000 and Apache. I have tried all sorts of combinations with my configure files. Some of the confusion comes from the comments which say

// absolute path required

The paths that are generated by the install program are not always what I would call absolute paths. It doesn't make a difference if I change the paths.

Copies of the files as they are generated on my machine with a new install are here

http://anthonyquinnwines.com/configure%20catalog%201st.txt

http://anthonyquinnwines.com/configure%20admin%201st.txt

[i changed the extensions so they would display in a browser.]

If you see any problems, could you let me know.

Are there server configuration details that may be a problem? Apache and MYSQL seem happy the way they are configured now.

Any help would be appreciated.

David
