vcache
My domain host offers a shared ssl with my hosting package and I would like to use it (I currently can't afford to purchase a dedicated ssl certificate). I have it set up (at least I'm pretty sure I do cause it says I do) as far as my web host is concerned. I just can't figure out how to tell OSC how to use it...I put in https://mydomain and it comes up with page cannot be displayed (yes the pages are there and I can access them if I use just http:// Any help would be appreciated Contribs added: AdminLogin-Catalog With Images-Credit Class/Gift Voucher-CoolMenu EasyPopulate-LoginBox-Paypal Shopping Cart IPN-PDF Catalogs Product Listing In Columns - Image Strip -- ...the young jedi said to his master "you want me to do WHAT?" vcache
Thanks Alan... as it turns out I would have to put the cert server's URL ahead of mine..which just looks bad...so I'm skipping the SSL thing for now untill I can afford to purchase one thanks for the mountain of info, though :) ----------------------------- p.s. If you would like to see what I have spent countless hours on and give me your opinion on it...go to http://www.mytoolconnection.com/catalog .... then either pm or email me...thanks..:) Contribs added: AdminLogin-Catalog With Images-Credit Class/Gift Voucher-CoolMenu EasyPopulate-LoginBox-Paypal Shopping Cart IPN-PDF Catalogs Product Listing In Columns - Image Strip -- ...the young jedi said to his master "you want me to do WHAT?" It's such a common question, that and ssl in general that I think I'll set up a simple web page to explain the basics like this. I searched for one with google to see if someone had already done one but came up empty.
