Problem with Categories Description Contribution

HSC

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I have installed "Categories Description" contribution from Brian Lowe. The Category Descriptions contribution allows full-text descriptions for

categories in a manner nearly identical to that for products. I have write the author telling my problem without response.

I have installed and modified all following the instructions but i get an error when i add a product or a categorie:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/shop/public_html/admin/includes/languages/espanol/categories.php:100) in /home/shop/public_html/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 18

I have tried during a lot of days to find the solution but i don't correct them.

The product or categorie it's correctly added but i get ever this error when i save the modifications.

Any one can help me ?

Sorry my english

I'm guessing but you might have a blank line at the end of either of the two files mentioned...

I just had to fix that in about 3 files and was getting similar sorts of errors (nothing to do with this contribution though).

as said above

Header Whitespace

download the admin/includes/languages/espanol/categories.php file open it and place your cursor after the last ?> then press delete several times, save the file and upload it.

Do not use the file manager to edit online as this can cause the whitespace.

instead use an ftp program such as ws_ftp to download the file to a local machine and edit then upload using the ftp program
