AlanR
Why don't you point the domain name to the server? Who can tell what's going wrong when you're running on a back end link? Your problems may just vanish. Even if it worked you'd still have to change all your configure settings once you set dns for the domain. Guest
I am waiting for my client to pay for hosting + domain registration. Once web-mania receive payment they will point the domain name to the server. I have never had to deal with hosting + servers before, I normally just make the pages look pretty and let somebody else deal with the technical server side of things. However, in theory if I run the install once the domain name points to the server instead of running off a back end link everything should work a-ok? :)

I don't think anyone here is going to try to help trouble shoot a system running like that. sand_danser
I had the same problem and am also hosted there! It was down to my domain name not yet pointed to to the server. Using the server name via FTP only gives you limited access via their ports due to security reasons. Once my domain name kicked in I got str8 in
