♥Vger Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 Have you set up a user name and password for accessing mysql on your host (via php myadmin)? Depending on host this can stop you in the installation process. With some hosts you can run the install, leave the user name and password blank and the install will proceed. With others you have to go into either your personal Control Panel and set up a User Name and Password for MySQL or go to your phpMyAdmin link and set up your password there, before you can proceed with the install.
