"top" link to wrong directory

Guess I botched the setup. When I click the top link (under the header), I am taken to the htdocs directory where "catalog" and other "directories" are stored. Can I redirect the "top" link to the proper directory by adding a "/catalog.index.php" somewhere, or will I have to start from scratch? Really hope I dont have to start over as I have added lots of content. Thanks in advance.. atamann

Thx. I changed the http_server to repoint at the catalog directory and the top button took me right where I wanted to be (at the home page). However all of the image files are now in the wrong directory (redx syndrome)... I suppose I can try to move the images file, but I am afraid I will lose other functions as well. Can someone tell me where I have gone wrong (or how to address this situation).. Is there a way to just redirect the link for the "top" to the correct link?

Thx for looking at this. Both codes are posted. AFTER followed by BEFORE

//code below is where I added /catalog/index.php and I see no images. I am afraid other features may not work as well//
