overlake
I?ve installed a fresh W2K Server with PHP and MySql. I havent configured PHP at all. I?ve done everything in the Install file but when i want to browse the catalog/install directory to install the file my webbrowser only says: "You are not Authorized to view this page" i?ve tried changing the IP-adress to 127.0.0.1 etc. I guess its some kind of securityproblem. Is it something in osCommerce or is it in the PHP-server?

Mark Evans
You have missed something on the server setup. To test add a new text document called test.php with the following content <?php phpinfo(); ?> Once that works you have PHP working correctly... I would recommend using apache rather than IIS as well :) Mark Evans osCommerce Monkey & Lead Guitarist for "Sparky + the Monkeys" (Album on sale in all good record shops) --------------------------------------- Software is like sex: It's better when it's free.
