Guest
Hi, What is the bast way to backup your OSC site files. I know that the backup function in admin just backsup your database, so what I do to backup my site is (within my FTP program) I just download all my store files to my hard drive. But is there a better (faster and maybe more reliable) way to do this? Thanks.
bsharke
Most servers such as mine have an archive where you can backup all your files and be there in case you need one or all. Thanks Billy

DELETE_ME
A way to do backups would be to script the backup, , I dont have to do this as I have a quantum superloader for my server farm. But if you have access to a shell acount you could create a script that would copy all the files to a archive folder. I would do this for you're database as well , MYSQL can be backed up while the database is up.
