carsoncomm Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 I recently changed to a new domain and my dns just refreshed so I can go to my website (http://www.bmoviejunkie.com) and that works dandy. When I click to get to other areas of my site, it shows my old link instead of my new updated domain link. I tried to update the paths in my 2 configure.php files but it spit out an error at me. Are there other files I need to fix that I'm missing? All I changed was my old address to my new one. They both are the same thing, I just don't want some long stupid address on there. That is why I registered a domain :) I don't understand why it's giving me an error. :blink: Thanks.
tuning4u Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 you dont have the configure.php files correct, that is the problem. Dont forget you had to chmod your configure.php file so that no one can write to it... soooo if you cant right to it... you cant upload it and overwrite it.... get the picture? :P you need to chmod the configure.php so you can write on it and then made the changes....
