btekd
I hope someone can help me. I'm still unclear on the process I have to go through. My site ,'----.com', has an area reserved for paying customers. 'Page 13' is the introductory page. Page 12 has a few free samples of my cartoons. If the customer wants to see more, the idea, which I have partially set up with 2checkout.com, is to click on the pay button, which takes them to where they enter their cc info, which then takes them to the first pay-to-see page (page 14). From page 14, they have the option of going to the next page, for a smaller fee. The link takes them again to the pay section, which, once completed, takes them to the appropriate page, from which, for another, smaller fee, they can go to the last page. The problem I'm having, which no one has yet addressed fully, is how to protect my pages from unauthorized viewing??? It's a simple matter to just type in "----.com/page 14" and see for free. What I am looking for is a system where the customer, in going to the pay link, would be given a temporary user id and password, something which would run out in a week, giving them time to view at leisure, but not so much as to abuse it, or give it to friends. I really need some tech help. I have been ready for some time to launch my site, but am held back by lack of assistance in protecting my intellectual property from unauthorized use. Do you know of anything which would meet my needs? Heeelp! Thank you. Don Broder
