Product Displays with zero Quanity

I downloaded the catalog and installed about 4 weeks ago.

 

I am preparing my catalog - I have entered test products,

When I order a product and it goes to zero quantity,

The product still displays in the catalog. I assume the

normal configuration is to stop displaying products when

they reach zero. Am I wrong? My setting for are

 

Configuration

Stock

Check Stock level -true

Subtract stock level - true

Allow checkout -false.

 

I have not changed any files. I am not very familiar

with the files yet to do that.

 

Any configurations items I have missed or messed up??
