Could you please point me to documentation for a beginner? I don't need installation information, just operational info. That is, after I tell my server to install OSCommerce, what's next? Guest Posted March 17, 2004 Share Posted March 17, 2004 I just looked through the admin and worked it out from there. www.yourdomain.com/catalog/admin start with configuration and look at all the values and what you need to change ie your store, your email address etc If you click on catalog, you will find where to add your products It was trial and error on my part but i got used to it You will see the sample data and how that is set up, if you leave it there for now to help you put you categories and products in and delet the sample data later. tzunami Posted March 19, 2004 Share Posted March 19, 2004 The servers have been a bit slow lately - Although I doubt you'll find the Wiki documentation too helpful, as it's more for end users rather than the person implementing the store. Best thing to do is install a template system if you're new (from the contributions section) - I found the BTS (basic template system) very useful, and you get some pointers on how to easily customise your shop.
