Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 Hi I just installed and configured my first osCommerce shop and have been pleasantly pleased already. However, the shop is populated with 1,000+ products and although the items are categorised fully the problem comes with the search results. For example if I use the search "optical" it comes back with 100s of results. My question is, are there any contributions that catagorise these results so it give the user a better picture, e.g. mice (5) Results Brand A optical mouse .... Brand B optical mouse .... CD-Drives (10) Results Brand C CD-RW ... Brand A CD-RW ... DVD-Drive (1) Result Brand B DVD Drive as so on I have not managed to find any contributions that fit this through my own searches but being new to this software, I may have missed something.
