metropixel
i'm running a very busy community site and am interested in running auctions. i know it's possible to include ebay auctions in oscommerce but customers will be coming to me, not to ebay, so i'd like to keep all my revenue. is there any way to run my own auctions accurately, safely, etc? i'm using oscommerce for my normal catalog but i'm open to all sorts of solutions to make auctions work. thanks in advance for your thoughts! gelali
I don't know if there is a contribution for just adding an auction to oscommerce. you're best bet is having seperate site for this and use one of these open source auction managers. here are some: php auction managers
veral
Does anyone have any recommendation for auction managers - I know there are reviews in the link mentioned, but I was hoping for some solid advice, and the osC community seems very trustworthy =)
intrapost
YOu can Use phpAuction NG GPL it is free but is realy a great product it is not a osc module But it is'n an important problem . you can ( in most cases you must) setup your auction site in a separate area from your reman site. phpAuction has all you need Just like Ebay. Try it :) Note1: phpAuction NG GPL is a fork of phpAuction GPL (www.phpauction.com) with some bug fixes. Note2: phpAuction is for Linux/Unix operating system , it works under windows but by some problem. I dont recommend it .
