RicherD
Hi, we?re working on a new store for a client, and would love some thoughts / suggestions on the current layout and features ? all comments welcome, any layout problems, improvements? thoughts on security (ignoring SSL as we haven?t set that up yet!) or site optimisation (currently quite heavy graphically) we may have missed would be most appreciated! All products are currently dummy items ? so feel free to make test orders, sign-ups etc ? you can rummage around to your hearts content! Here's the link: New Store Thanks in advance :)
BearHappy
The store looks good! But some of the graphics associated with the info boxes isn't lining up. This may sound funny, but you sell cell phones and I can't seem to find your phone number anywhere on the site. A little information such as phone and address do seem to calm customers into a little more trust when purchasing from you. But let me tell you I do like the look, very AT&T wireless... masat
Nice looking site. Love the color scheme! Tried to veiw source with no luck just wanted to see if you had meta tags in place for the SE's. 5 stars :) Tim How do you know when you know what you want to do for the rest of your life? RicherD
Thanks for the feedback guys! Looking closer the info boxes do seem a bit out of line in the middle - hmm, I'll have to look into that, I think it may be where we've used % values on the boxes and fixed values on the header images... Regarding the phone number / contact details, I'll be sure to put them online once the site is live - probably on top of the contact us page, agree it's definitely something customers need to see! We've installed a meta tags contrib - at least, we have the page title and keywords (for what they're worth!) in place... haven't set-up a description tag yet, as we couldn't make the contrib 'snip' the text to a certain size, although from experience description tags play a very small part in the search engine ranking, we're not too worried. I've also had problems viewing source (needing to refresh a few times in IE6) I'm wondering if it has something to do with enabling Gzip compression... as I've never seen it happen before! Thanks again :)
Guest
I have had a look at this site and i think its excellent. What files did you alter to create the login on the right hand side. I have been trying for ages to get my site to look as classy as this one and would be interested to know how you did it.
