Guest Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 ive been using my shop for nearly a year and had no problems but now suddenly i get this msg when trying to view catalog Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/users/hardcow/domains/partystoreonline.com/sql/mysql.sock' (111) in /users/hardcow/domains/partystoreonline.com/html/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! i havnt changed anythink. If anybody has a clue as to how i could fix this problem please reply.

Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Thanks Steve The server retest my sql and shop is up and runing again. The problem i have now it that Os is not sending emails out now. no email for new customer no email at all any ideas.?? :)

Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 sendmail ! When i go to send a email to a customer through Os it comes up at the top saying Notice: Email sent to: but the back ground of the writing is RED i allways thought it went green.

Admin (do you have all of these filled correctly) email address email from send extra order email to Email Options email transport method - sendmail email linefeeds - LF Use MIME HTML - true or false verify email address DNS - true or false sen emails - true after this we will check email.php No longer giving free advice. Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Cheers Steve all is ok now the server had band my email sending as there has been virus set out from the server. We wish servers would tell there customers before they change this it must be the world we live in. Anyway back to business. :D
