Multi-Stores multiple shop system by Ryan Hobbs

I am asking about this contribution specifically: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1730

I note from the description that it allows for store 1, store 2, store 3, etc, but would it be able to expand this contribution be expanded to allow store 1 to use table products 1, store 2 to use table products 2, etc. thus allowing the user through the admin to select which table the product would go in.

Basically I am thinking that such a split, though it only would be needed for the tables that place the data onto the webpages, can highly improve the functionality of the multi-store contribution available.

I have had a look at the current version available and it is not yet suitable for me because I would need to put all products in one database, and it does not seem to allow for me to distinguish between wholesale customers and retail customers.

I would like to have some comments from Ryan Hobbs about this idea as I would certainly integrate a more extended version of his basic multi-store system here which would allow me to have my five other stores I want to open. If Ryan could contact me privately, I would appreciate it.
