Kimbot
I'd like to be able to use one Admin for myself and one for my client. The client's Admin would be restricted, I don't want them near file manager functions on the server. Can I just copy the whole Admin directory over to another directory, say "Control" then just edit the index.php file and remove references to certain functions that I don't want clients accessing? Possible? Cheers! Kbot B) Kim Grant Carter - Koh Samui - Thailand "This sentence is not true."
241
Why not use one of the admin access with levels contributions that allow multiple access with one top administrator with overall rights and seperate admins with access rights chossen by the top admin, anything that you do not have access to you do not see and so are none the wiser as to whether the item exists or not No longer giving free advice. There is a contribution for access levels that will allow you do do what you want. I have not used it myself but I remember seeing a discussion on it in the contribution support section. I believe that you assign funtions on a per user basis so you could give someone access to just the catalog section if you wanted. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
