rdbello
Protect your admin directory with login and passworld or use a contribution (AdminLogin-0.0.5: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1082) to do this.
ptrau
...or if your host offers protected directories you can use that method "Aliiiiive, it's alive, it's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!"
Kimbot
I simply secured my Admin with .htacess. I think it's enough security for normal stuff. Just go to Yahoo or Google and search for "htaccess file" Yu will find instruct on how to implement. Pretty simple, you just make a file, upload it then you must telnet in and run a simple command to set up password. Read up. Good luck.
