No prices shown in Catalog...

Hi All,

 

I have been building my catalog and the prices for individual products entered in the Admin area are not displayed in the Catalog. When I go back to the Admin panel, they are still there and when I run a SELECT statement on the products table, they are there but the Catalog does not seem to be returning them. Any ideas.

what contributions did you install?

Did you created a new default currency?

In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ?

and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

Change it to whatever you need

I initially had the "Easy Populate" contribution and I had assumed that something in this was causing the problem, so I reinstalled the original files without any contributions and created a sample product and it still happened.

 

Everything else seems to be going great but without any prices, I can't sell anything!!

 

I'll look at The_Bear's suggestion and would appreciate any other feedback.

I changed the value of my new currency to 1.000000 and all the prices are returned correctly. I assume that this is the mechanism for handling currency exchange rates, expressed relative to the default currency(?). As this was my default currency and it was set to 0.000000, all prices were returned as 0.00.
