Can anyone tell me why the system is not remembering the customers name and address info? I have orders coming in but when I go to print the pick slip or invoice the customer?s name and other info isn?t there. When I click on the customer name in the customer list the info isn?t there either?

 

Ideas?

try creating a dummy account and see if the details get saved.

 

if not check create_account.php and check the table references match your tables.

I have tried dummy accounts. They do not save either. As far as tables in the ?Create_account.php? I am not seeing anything there that resembles anything as in a table. Could you give me some insight on hat I would be looking for? I?m feeling a bit computer illiterate today.

I contacted my hosting company and they gave me the follwoing reply. It was somethign to do with the linking when they uploaded it!

I found that the order record stores the billing & shipping address

information, rather than linking to the customer address book. As a result,

the old orders did not have the information, even after I repaired the

problems in the database. Any new orders will have the correct billing &

shipping information. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
