Guest
Hi all, I am trying to change the master currency to GBP (British Pounds) I have done it for the catalog but i cant find a way to do it for the admin section and order info comes up using US$. Can anyone offer some advice ?? I can see that all currencies are valued against the US$ and since i am only using 3 currencies, GBP, USD and EURO i can change the exchange rate to be pounds by editing the code, however does anyone know of an easier way. Also i have not yet found how to change the master currency in the admin section. All advice appreciated, many thanks. ;)
peterr
Hi, Just go to http://www.yourdomainname.com/admin/currencies.php , select "GBP" and give it a value of 1.0000 Once you update that, you will notice it is now the default. Press the 'update currencies' button, and you will see the latest rates. Peter

Guest
Did you created a new default currency? In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ? and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36 // if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$ define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD'); Change it to whatever you need HTH The_Bear
